And in the second half of the show, we’ talk with Paul White and Walter Jaffe of White Bird Dance about their new international lineup of dance performances starting with the Phillip Glass dance of “Diavalo” (Oct. 9-11), the Bowie-inspired Michael Clark Company(Oct.16-18) and Ballet Boyz (Nov. 11-12).  For the last 17 years, they’ve brought world-class contemporary dance to Portland and collaborated with many Portland dancers. The two have worked tirelessly on White Bird as a labor of love.
